Report on the Talk on "Reminders of Academic Writing and Publication in Indexed Journals"
Seethi Sahib Chair for Cultural and Political Studies, in collaboration with Shihab Thangal Library and Information Centre and the Research and Development Cell of K A H M Unity Women’s College, Manjeri, organized a talk on "Reminders of Academic Writing and Publication in Indexed Journals" on 12th June 2025 at Aryabhatta Hall.
The event began with a Welcome Note by Dr. Abdul Rof V, Director of Seethi Sahib Chair and Head of the Department of Mathematics. Dr. K. Fousi, Principal in Charge, delivered the Presidential Address, emphasizing the importance of academic research. Felicitations were extended by Dr. Shahina Mol A.K. (IQAC Coordinator) and Mr. Yoosuf Vallanchira.
The keynote session speaker Dr. Sameer Babu M, Associate Professor (Jamia Millia Islamia) and Visiting Professor (UPI, Indonesia), shared his insights on scholarly writing, ethical publishing practices, and strategies for indexing in reputed journals.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms. Shafna, Research Scholar of the PG & Research Department of English
